Shattered

A VR research application for the Oculus Quest I worked on during my time as a Mixed Reality Developer for the Soft Interaction Lab at Texas A&M University. The primary goal of this project was to test how users react to difital avatars in a VR classroom environment.

My Contributions

I imported all the art assets and worked closely with Travis Hausman to import motion capture data into the scene. I also wrote several C# scripts to allow non-programmers to correlate audio clips and animations with specific slides. The scripts then allowed that person to place those slides in a specific order to be played in sequence for the end user. Towards the end of my time on the project, I also handled optimization of assets and reducing draw calls in order to get the application running at 60fps on the Oculus Quest.
